United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois - Chicago
Not the greatest picture. This Court has a trial bar separate from the general membership bar.

I took a train from Connecicut to Grand Central Station and ended up walking from the Empire State Building down Broadway through Washington Square Park to Manhattan. If you know New York, you will realize how much walking this was.
This is the Thurgood Marshall Courthouse in Manhattan. I later learned that the Southern District of New York maintains a second courthouse about a block away (the Daniel Patrick Moynihan U.S. Courthouse). According to a U.S. Magistrate I later spoke to, this is the busiest Federal District Court in the United States.
Officially called the Clarence M. Mitchell, Jr. Courthouse. There is a scene in In And Justice for All where Al Pacino is on the balcony looking out over Calvert Street. Directly across the street is the old federal courthouse, which used to double as the Baltimore federal court and main Post Office.
Just around the corner from the Inner Harbor. Apparently, this is the only federal courthouse in Maryland.
This is the oldest capital building still being used by a legislature. It was the capital of the United States from November 1783 to August 1784.
Honestly, not my favorite design. Although I did appreciate the open air interior - which reminded me of Kahului Airport.
The tall concrete structure in the background is the actual capital, this is the historic capital building.
